Dunlop Geomax MX53 is Dunlop's new medium to hard terrain motocross tyre, which has been develop and perfected on the world motocross championship scene. The front tyre has been redesigned with a taller profile to offer a larger contact patch which in turn provides gentler handling and a higher lean angel for better maneuverability. The actual front blocks are 1mm higher and have been redistributed to give better steering feel and more of a biting edge. With regards the pattern on the front tyre, it's a horseshoe design which reduces stiffness in the centre, these blocks are also able to "grab" the dirt to provide better braking grip.
